What Our Guests Say
Experiences shared by visitors who’ve walked, stayed, and connected with the magic of Puhi Peaks.
“We absolutely loved our stay at Puhi Peaks with good accommodation and such wonderful, thoughtful and generous managers. I can’t think of a better place in New Zealand to experience the outdoor wilderness so easily, with people willing to share their love of it, with us – many thanks.”

“After a long trip from Tauranga we arrived to a friendly welcome from Tim, Fee and Peter. Accommodation was a unique kiwi back country farm experience with the main facilities part of their woolshed and sleep out being a cabin near by, all with the stunning backdrop of Mt Alexander. Fauna and tree life was lovely to see, hearing about pest control efforts plus the special birdlife, especially the endangered Hutton’s Shearwater. Personally, I would like to say – Tim, Fee and Peter were wonderful hosts, nice to be around – looking forward to another trip back! “

“Exploring the guided tracks of Puhi Peaks – Kaikoura Wilderness created very special memories. These walks showcased the many exceptional sights and sounds of this very special location. The knowledge shared by the guides – Tim & Fee ensured we gained as much out of our time there as we could. Exceptional hospitality and it was a new experience to see the deer grazing on the lawn first thing in the morning.”
