KWE provides wilderness experiences and accommodation. While managing enquiries and bookings, we may collect the following information:

  • Physical address or location.
  • Billing or purchase information (processed via secure payment providers).

How Do We Use Your Information

All data is collected for legitimate business interests in order to facilitate bookings for our clients. We use your information to process enquiries, confirm reservations, and provide a personalised service. We may also contact you to respond to inquiries, provide essential updates regarding your booking and to request feedback.

Providing some of this information is optional; however, if you choose not to provide the requested details, we may be unable to provide a personalised service or guarantee a confirmed booking.

KWE also uses a number of social media and marketing services and/or platforms including Instagram and Facebook. These services may be linked to our websites through the use of social media buttons and pixels.

However, despite safeguards and all efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We will do our best to protect and put in place all necessary precautions to safeguard your information.

What Data Breach Procedures We Have In Place

We follow the mandatory breach notification guidelines provided by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner. In the event of a privacy breach that has caused (or is likely to cause) serious harm, we will notify the affected individuals and the Privacy Commissioner as soon as practicable.

Your Rights: Review, Update, or Delete data

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to change that information, or to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
